Pneumonia

All people with HIV. Risk of pneumococcal infection is 50-100 times greater than general population

Pneumovax II

Preferably offered when CD4 count >200/mm3. If given when CD4 <200/mm3 revaccinate when count increases to >200/mm3

Hepatitis B

Negative anti-hepatitis B test

Energix BHB-Vax II

Influenza

Flu

All people with HIV every year

Flu vaccine

Preferably October/November

Hepatitis A

Susceptible people with hepatitis C infection

Havrix Monodose

Can be considered for all HIV positive people

Hepatitis A & B

Consider all people with HIV
